Dr. Manmohan Lalchandani completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi, India. He has more than 25 years of experience as a General Physician andobtained his certification in Occupational health (AFIH) from the Indian government’s Central Labour Institute in 2010. He joined NOVAVITA in 2013.
Dr. Durga Tumtaj completed her MBBS at Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai, India and subsequently received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the prestigious Madras Medical College in Chennai, India in 2001. She has more than 15 years of experience. Prior to joining NOVAVITA in 2012, she acquired a wealth of experience working in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Ankita Davis completed her MBBS at Tanjor Medical College in Tanjor, Tamil Nadu in 1992. She has a total of 23 years of experience. Prior to joining NOVAVITA, in 2006, she worked in Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Chandra Ishrat completed her MBBS from Tver State Medical Academy in Moscow, Russia in 2001. She has more than 10 years of experience in the field of General Medicine. Prior to joining KMC Group in 2012, she worked in NMC Hospital for 2 years.
Dr. Raja A.A Shah completed his basic medical training at Khyber Medical College, Pakistan in 1997. He became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2002. He also has a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Dermatology from the UK, earned in 2003. Prior to joining NOVAVITA in 2005, Dr. Shah worked as a Consultant and Head of Department in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust in the UK.
Dr. Roula Amer joined NOVAVITA as a dermatologist. Dr Amer is German Board Certified in Dermatology (2006) and was previously a consultant dermatologist at a medical care center in Frankfurt, Germany. She completed her basic medical training and her Master’s in Dermatology and Venereology at the University of Damascus, Syria, and then moved to Germany where she completed specialist training (FACHARZT) at the University of Frankfurt.
Dr. Parul Dixit graduated with an MBBS degree in 1998 and obtained her Master’s in Dermatology and Venereology in 2002 from JN Medical College in Belgaum, India. Before joining the NOVAVITA team in 2008, she worked in various locations including Maldives, London, India, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Dr. Nader Salti received his college and medical degrees from the prestigious University of Chicago (1989, 1993). He completed his General Surgery residency training at the University of Rochester under the tutelage of Dr. Seymour Schwartz, one of the giants of American surgical scholarship (1998). Subsequently, he finished Subspecialty Fellowship Training in colorectal surgery at the University of Illinois and Cook County Hospitals, Chicago (1999), under the direction of surgeon pioneer, Dr. Herand Abcarian. Prior to joining Nova Vita, Dr. Salti worked in private solo and group surgical practices in the Chicagoland and Southern Wisconsin areas.
Dr. Abu-Hamdaan Hani completed his basic medical training in 1990 and belongs to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in the UK since 1994. He further completed his FRCS (Gen) Subspecialty Colorectal Surgery in 2003 andalso acquired his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) that same year. Dr. Hani also belongs to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) since 2014, the very year he joined our team.
Dr. Matthew Tytherleigh is a consultant general surgeon. He was trained at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London, UK. Dr. Tytherleigh's surgical training was completed at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford with Professor Neil Mortenson. In 2006, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (General Surgery). Following completion of his training, Dr. Tytherleigh was appointed as a locum consultant colorectal surgeon at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge and, subsequently, to a substantive post at Ipswich Hospital. He joined NovaVita in 2012.
Dr. Jana Ramal, specialist in obstetrics & gynecology, completed her medical school training at the University of Lebanon in 2000. She furthered her post graduate studies and training ata number of prominent hospitals in Beirut, leading to her specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2005. Dr. Rana completed a subspecialization in high-risk pregnancy in 2007 at Pierre-and-Marie-Curie University in Paris, France. She practiced at a range of reputed healthcare centers in France, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia before coming to NOVAVITA in 2011.
Dr. Afaf El Gharimi currently works at NOVAVITA as a consultant in obstetrics and ynecology. Dr. Afaf graduated from Al Fateh University Medical School in Tripoli, Libya, completing her clinical fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology and going on to become a Senior Registrar in Gynecology at El Kadra University Hospital in Libya. She became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2000, following in-depth studies in the UK, and returned to Libya to work as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist. She moved to the UAE in 2002 where she worked as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist in Al Fayhaa Center. She later held the same position at Tawam Hospital, Al Ain. In 2008, she joined NOVAVITA team.
Dr. Nabil Abu Tartour completed his medical education in his native Libya and went on to specialize in Obstetrics & Gynecology. After qualifying, he gained experience as a consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist at 4 different hospitals across Libya and held the position of Assistant Professor at Al Fateh University, Tripoli. Since 2010, he holds the position of consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology (Minimally Invasive Surgery) at NOVAVITA.
Dr. Muhaj Al Shaikhli received her medical degree from the University of Baghdad in 1995. She then received a diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology and became a Member of the Iraqi Commission for Medical Specialization in 2001. Dr. Al Shaikhli has been recognized as an OB/GYN specialist by the Arab Board in Obstetrics & Gynecology since 2001. She is also a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (MRCOG), UK since 2007.

Dr. Areen Said completed his US Board Certification in Psychiatry and Neurology in 2003 and recertified in 2013. His basic medical training was completed at the University of Jordan in 1996. Prior to joining NOVAVITA, Dr. Said worked as a neurologist at Trinity Health, North Dakota, USA. From May 2010 to May 2014, he was in private practice as a neurologist at Coastal Neurology, PLLC, Wilmington, North Carolina, USA.
Dr. Karoly Zoltan Vadasdi graduated from Semmelweis University of Medical Sciences, Budapest, Hungary in 1994 and completed a specialization in neurology in 2000, as well as in psychotherapy in 2005. Until 2002, he worked at the Department of Neurology at Semmelweis University, conducting clinical, tutorial, and research activities on cognitive disorders and stroke. Prior to joining NOVAVITA in 2013, he worked as a consultant in a government hospital (Dept. of Neurology and Stroke Center, Szent Janos Hospital) and as a part-time consultant in different private hospitals and clinics in Budapest, Hungary. He was also a faculty member of the Department of Psychology at Pazmany Peter University in Hungary.
Dr. Sharmila Changkakoti completed her MBBS in 1986 and her MD (General Medicine) in 1991 from Gauhati Medical College in India. She received her Doctor of Medicine in Neurology in 1995 from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Dr. Changkakoti worked as an Assistant Professor of Neurology in Gauhati Medical College from 1996-2001. She then worked as a neurologist at the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia from 2001-2003. She also practiced in a private hospital in Sharjah, UAE from 2003-2008 before joining NOVAVITA in 2009.
